Currently, there is a lack of precise records and statistical analyses on the damage forms of excavator bucket teeth manufacturers in China. The consumption of cutting teeth has been estimated using various methods or determined through annual statistical calculations based on routine records of excavator bucket teeth. These methods have shortcomings such as inaccuracy, unscientific nature, and unpredictability, which hinder the accurate formulation of coal production cost plans and the adoption of effective measures to address the main influencing factors and reduce cutting tooth consumption. The author will start by identifying the main forms of cutting tooth damage and provide a calculation method for the consumption due to wear-induced damage. Based on this, a systematic analysis of the impact of various factors on cutting tooth consumption will be conducted.
