The reduction ratio of the cross-sectional area of an oval-shaped bucket body is smaller than that of an arcuately deep-drawn bucket body. In other words, the product of the oval cross-section changes more slowly, which reduces the compressive pressure on the bucket wall material during the excavation process. This is beneficial for the material within the discharge hopper. In the change of oval curvature, only in arc A_n, the curvature of the bucket end curve is greater than the curvature of the arcuate curve, and the projection of this curve on the X-axis only accounts for approximately one-fourth (L) of the bucket's length. The remaining three-fourths are more stable than the arcuate changes. This can meet the requirements for rapid and clean discharging of the bucket.
