During the crushing process, as vibrations gradually change the direction of the hammerhead, the bucket cylinder should be adjusted at any time to keep the direction of the hammerhead perpendicular to the surface of the object being crushed. When the hammerhead cannot penetrate into the crushed material, the crushing position should be changed, and continuous crushing at the same position should not exceed 1 minute; otherwise, it will not only damage the hammerhead but also cause abnormal oil temperature rises. For hard objects, they should be gradually crushed from the edges. It is strictly prohibited to use the hydraulic hammer horizontally or upwards, and avoid breaking it during rotation. The hydraulic hammer can be used as a chisel when twisting after inserting the hammerhead. The purpose of regular maintenance of excavators is to reduce machine failures, extend the service life of the machine, shorten downtime, improve work efficiency, and lower operating costs.
