From January to October 2014, the total profit of the hardware industry in China increased by 10.66% year on year. The growth rate continued to decline, and the cumulative growth rate from January to September decreased by 1.01 percentage points.In October, the total amount of completed profits achieved positive growth compared with the previous month, and the total amount of completed profits in that month broke the peak again, reaching the highest level since 2014. 

1. The main profits of the industry come from domestic enterprises

From the perspective of enterprise registration type, the main profit of the industry comes from domestic enterprises, and its profit growth rate is relatively the highest, exceeding the average of the industry growth rate.Among them, the total accumulated profits of domestic enterprises increased by 14.06% year on year.The cumulative profit of foreign-invested enterprises increased by -0.36% year on year.The cumulative profits of enterprises invested by Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises increased by 12.42% year on year.

2. The total profit of enamel products manufacturing industry increased rapidly compared with that of the previous year

According to different industries, the total profit of enamel products manufacturing is still the fastest growing year on year, and the growth rate is much higher than other industries.Metal daily necessities manufacturing and hand tools, farming and gardening and daily metal tools manufacturing two industries profit growth also exceeded the industry average.From January to October 2014, the total profit of metal products for construction and safety increased by 7.47% year on year.Total profit of metal commodity manufacturing increased by 17.59% year on year.The total profit of metal packaging container manufacturing increased by 7.27% year on year.Hand tools, agricultural garden and daily use of metal tools manufacturing total cumulative profit year-on-year growth of 13.5%;The e total profit of enamel products increased by 41.91% year on year.

3. Major production areas make great contribution to profits

From January to September 2014, the regions with higher profit in the hardware industry in China were mainly guangdong, shandong, zhejiang, jiangsu, hebei, henan, Shanghai, fujian, hubei, jiangxi and other regions.The total profit of the 10 regions accounted for 84.57% of the national total, which was basically the same as last month.Among them, guangdong province achieved a year-on-year increase of 30.04% in the total cumulative profit.Shandong province achieved a year-on-year increase of 5.3% in total cumulative profits;Zhejiang province achieved a year-on-year increase of -3.72% in cumulative profits.
